Best baby registry UK: an honest comparison.

The four baby registries and wish lists UK parents ask about most, side by side. We make one of them (NuaNest), so we’ve stuck to facts from each service’s own pages and said where the others do something better.

Which baby registry suits you?

Amazon Baby Wishlist

Best if most of your list is from Amazon

The 15% completion discount is genuinely valuable: it covers eligible baby items on orders up to £2,000 (so up to £300 off), from 180 days before your due date to 90 days after, once your list has been live for 14 days. Nappies, formula and books are excluded. Spend £20 and you can also claim a free welcome gift. The catch: everything has to come from Amazon.

MyRegistry

Best for joining up store registries

A long-running universal registry: add anything from any shop with a browser button, or scan barcodes in store with the app. If you already have store registries, you can sync them in and keep each store’s perks, and cash gift funds let guests put money towards bigger things.

MyRegistry website

MyCrib

Best for group gifts paid straight to you

A UK baby registry that lets you add from any website and shows where each product is sold and at what price. Group gifting lets guests chip in any amount, paid into your bank account, and MyCrib says it takes no fees or commission.

MyCrib website

NuaNest

Best for planning the whole shower in one place

Our own: one list from any UK shop, with prices from partner shops checked every morning so guests see the best price. On top of the list you get free baby shower invitations with RSVPs, 20 printable games, a guess-the-birth game, surprise mode and a thank-you tracker. We don’t offer a completion discount, and group gift money goes to you through your own payment link: we never hold it.

Baby registry questions

What is the best baby registry in the UK?

It depends on where you shop. If nearly everything is from Amazon, the Amazon Baby Wishlist’s 15% completion discount is hard to beat. If you want things from lots of shops on one list, a universal registry like NuaNest, MyCrib or MyRegistry is the better fit.

What is a universal baby registry?

A registry that isn’t tied to one shop. You can add products from any website, and guests buy each one from the shop it’s from.

Can I use more than one baby registry?

You can, but guests find one link much easier. A common approach is a universal list for everything, with the Amazon items on it too.

Are baby registries free?

All four here are free for parents and guests. Most earn money through the shops instead: when a guest buys something, the shop may pay the registry a small commission, without changing the price.
