How a baby wish list works

  1. 1

    Add what you’d love

Pick from thousands of baby products, or paste a link from any shop: Amazon, John Lewis, Etsy, a little independent. It all goes on one list.

  2. 2

    Share one link

Send it in the family WhatsApp, by email or with your baby shower invitation. A lovely preview shows up wherever you share it.

  3. 3

    Guests take it from there

They see what’s still needed and where it’s cheapest, tap to say they’re buying it, and buy it from the shop as normal. No account needed.

Baby wish list questions

What is a baby wish list?

A baby wish list (also called a baby registry or baby gift list) is a list of the things you’d love for your baby, shared with family and friends so they know what to buy and nobody doubles up.

Is a baby wish list the same as a baby registry?

Yes. “Registry” is the American word; in the UK people tend to say baby wish list or baby gift list. They all mean the same thing.

Is NuaNest free?

Yes, for parents and for guests. When a guest buys through a link on NuaNest, the shop may pay us a small commission. It never changes the price they pay.

Can I add things from Amazon and other shops?

Yes. Paste a link from any shop. For a few shops, like Amazon, you may need to check the name and photo yourself, as their pages can’t always be read automatically.

Do guests need an account?

No. Guests open your link, see what’s left, and tap to say they’re getting something. They buy it from the shop as normal.

When should I start a baby wish list?

Many parents start in the second trimester and share it a few weeks before the baby shower. You can keep adding to it at any time, including after baby arrives.

What should I put on my baby wish list?

The essentials first: somewhere to sleep, a car seat, a pram, feeding things and clothes. Then add a few lovely extras. Our checklists go through it room by room.
