Common questions

When should I pack my hospital bag?

Around 36 weeks is typical, or earlier if you're expecting twins or have been told your baby may come early. Keep it by the door or in the car.

Do I need to bring nappies to hospital?

Yes. Most UK hospitals expect you to bring your own nappies, wipes or cotton wool, and baby clothes. Pack about 10–12 newborn nappies.

Let family help with the rest

Put what you still need on one list, from any shop. Guests see what’s left at the best price, and nobody buys the same thing twice.
